Reefs, rocks, shelves, shallows! Anambas doesn’t make it easy…and we wonder if we can get through this crazy area!
And Tarempa, the capital, has the worst anchorage of all – we found that out when we checked in, so we weren’t looking forward to returning to check out. But it has to be done and we make the best of it on a bright, sunny day. As usual, we meet some lively children. We make it to the top of the hill to see the Chinese temple, and are met by…no-one!
