Street photography from a small Yorkshire village

A quick upload from my first week on our new boat, based in a small town in South Yorkshire. This move is going to have a big impact on my photography!

We popped into Thorne town centre the other week, allowing me to grab just a couple of shots in between provisioning. Are these shots representative of the type of street photography I can expect now?

This wasn’t a photography ‘session’, by the way. They’re basic phone shots taken on a rare day with sun. My favourite is the silhouette of the gentleman. If you look closely you can just make out a pack of biscuits in his back pocket!

The genres I really hope to explore on the canals in more detail are landscape and wildlife. I don’t have a suitable lens for wildlife yet but there’s no excuse not to explore a bit of landscape, especially on these moody, misty days we’re experiencing in the middle of February.
