[S04E24] Sourcing boat parts in remote places is something all cruisers should be thinking about.
You’re anchored off a remote island in a faraway country and you’ve had a system failure, what do you do? How do you source an engine part? Maybe you’ve run out of fuel for the boat or the dinghy. Has the impeller crumbled, and do you have a replacement? Has the autopilot given up?
Now imagine you’re running out of water and are low on food basics. You are somewhere with no phone or internet access and there’s no-one ashore. How did it get to this? What do you do? What should you have done?
