Salamat Datang! Welcome to the Derawan archipelago, one of the least known and most remote places we have visited so far. It’s time to start discovering some proper desert islands again.

So far in this adventure, our journey to Sulawesi has been a hard slog. And as we left amazing Tarakan, we hoped the next destination would make it all worth the effort.

But first of all, we have one more anchorage to go before we get there.
