In 2006 we left the rat-race to live on a boat. After a long search, we found SY Esper in Turkey and moved aboard. We’ve been sailing and traveling ever since!

We share our adventures every week on YouTube: the good, the bad and the downright ugly. Sometimes we sail to idyllic tropical islands no-one has ever heard of like the Anambas. Sometimes we get stuck in a marina waiting for a new engine. Once we stayed in a boatyard in Thailand for over a year rebuilding our sailboat.

We have been to Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Sudan, Eritrea, Yemen, Oman, India, Maldives, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. And our cat, Millie, has come with us.

There’s still so much more to see…

We want to inspire you to travel, learn about new cultures and see our beautiful blue planet, all the while on a slow boat across oceans. We learn as we go, and our blog and sailing channel give us the chance to show you what it’s really like to live on a boat.
