We’ve been reviewing our website and have made a few adjustments to its structure. This was due, in part, to missing images from older posts, dead links and a lack of clarity on the category sections. Looking back over our log entries, we realised some distinct areas needed highlighting.
We have now separated our posts into clear sections. The home page displays all our blog posts and the Log remains as it is, covering informational posts like this one, as well as general updates on our travels. However, when a post is specific to a location, we have categorised it under Travel and Destinations. Not only does this make the post more search-friendly, but helps provide valuable references for anyone looking to visit that specific location. Meanwhile, blog posts about boat maintenance, boat handling, and other information about managing your boat now fall into the Boat Skills category.

All of these sections can be accessed by the main menu or the Categories section in the footer at the bottom of every page. Please note that when you visit our Shop, the menu will change to a shop-specific one. You can return to the main website at any time by clicking Home or the logo at the top of every page.
Many of these changes resulted from examining older posts that contained broken links and missing images. In the past, we used gallery plugins to display images that are now obsolete; as a result, these images have been removed. Moreover, we are now in a position to revisit these images and edit them again with modern Photoshop technology and better editing knowledge. We will update some of these older posts and, in some cases, republish them. Republished posts will appear in our weekly email round-up, so make sure you are signed up to get these free updates.
