What’s your view on motor yachts v sailing yachts? And what about all the other marine vessels we see out on the water, is there a pecking order (we’re not talking ColRegs)?
Goodbye Millie, our beloved sailing cat, best friend and loyal crew member.
Esper is in better condition than when we bought her in 2004. We think we couldn’t have finished the work to the same standard and price anywhere else. For us, the time and money we spent was worth it… But we realise it might not be everyone’s choice. What do you think?
Even after all this time, it’s amazing how many of the details we both retain about the refit. In part three we cover the whole of the interior work, including all carpentry, re-wiring and electronics.
We cast off the lines (or to be more exact, climbed up the ladder in a boat yard) to begin full-time cruising back in 2006. In this celebration of the 200th episode, we remember how it all started with old images and footage. And we pick out some highlights from the past five years.
One thing is for sure, Millie is a fighter and has a lot of love and support coming in from around the world. If anyone can beat what’s ailing her, Millie can.
