The Times Shortlists Another Followtheboat Photograph

I’m almost embarrassed to announce that Jamie has been mentioned again in the Times weekly photo competition. He didn’t win this time, but was runner-up with a shot he took recently in Fort Cochin, of a sweet maker.

Here’s a screengrab of The Times on-line…

The image is taken from Jamie’s ‘Preparing Dinner’ set, which he will publish in due course.

    1. You’re right, Jon. I think that’s why Liz was embarrassed to mention it in the first place. I’ll stop the photo comps now and concentrate on the log – there’s still a huge chunk of blog missing from Goa to Cochin, which I need to write up. That was a wonderful experience and quite traumatic too.

  1. How exciting, finally gaining the recognition that is well deserved, some of us know the time and effort you have put into this Jamie, I particularily get a thrill when browsing through your photos and get to take a trip down memory lane as they bring back great memories of sharing time with both of you.

    1. Thank you, Debs. Without this kind of encouragement I probably wouldn’t bother doing anything about my photography because I can be damn lazy sometimes. This recognition is helping push my hobby to the next level… wherever that is! I’ve got a great one of you in Trinkitat wandering alone on a deserted beach. I’ll email it to you.
