One of our all-time favourite places to drop the hook is at Pedang beach on Jemaja. A two mile white beach stretches towards uninterrupted views of distant rain forests. Hills shimmer on the horizon. There are no hotels or resorts here. Not so much fun, though, when your engine starts to boil!

Jamie gets almost to the top of the Temburan waterfall and shoots some drone’s-eye view of the whole thing, while Liz slips around in the shadows beneath. Then he goes looking for bats and gets quite a shock in a little islet just off Siantan, the main island of the Anambas. And Millie falls in love…with Jamie’s shorts.

It’s been a long time since we posted something on our blog. As you’re no doubt aware all our energies go into our youtube channel with our weekly video updates but we realise some of you like to read the odd blog post from time to time. With this in mind we’ll try and line up a few posts for you soon. Just to keep things ticking over we’re uploading this shot of a view from Tinggiling Island. Water clarity? Tick! Coral? Yep!
