I was pretty stoked to get my Bedouin shot chosen by Lyn Hughes as her photo of the week on the MyWanderlust website. Lyn is owner/editor of the independent travel magazine and recently visited Jordan herself, so perhaps my shot brought back a few memories for her.

What a great opportunity for subject and light
This looks like a scene from the first Star Wars movie. Beautiful image!
Great shot!
well done, I am not surprised it is a fabulous shot. Also, the combination of colours is brilliant, blue and orange are  complementary i.e. opposite on the colour wheel.
Congrats. Always nice to be appreciated. Great shot and compo.
great shot! love the magnitude of the deserts!
Brilliant image of the man in his home surroundings. Congratulations +Jamie Furlong .
Cool – shame I wasn't able to connect with you whilst here but next time maybe.
We slipped in a visit to Jordan for a week, +Stuart Dyckhoff (Liz won the air tickets writing comp!) and have just applied for our new Indian visas, so all thing being well we are heading back to India mid-November. It's been our longest visit to the UK in eight years. Loved every minute of it but time to get back to the boat and the cat 🙂
Well posed or not it's a good shot. Are you on your slow way back home now then Jamie?
Thanks, +Jolie Blanchard Brown!
Cheers, +Lynda Bowyer. Haven't heard from you for a while. Probably me not being that active on G+ lately. Hope you are keeping well.
Wowsa!
Lovely work!
A bit of both, +Stuart Dyckhoff. He was the brother of our guide and had led us to this spot to take in the sunset. He ran up to this point and looked out and I got a shot, but asked him to stay there whilst I composed it better.
Very nice +Jamie Furlong was this a right place at the right time shot or did this chap model for you?
