thanks for the response. I had a quick look at GiffGaff but the pay as you go doesn’t allow roaming outside Europe. So do you keep it going just to have a UK number and are you able to receive SMS messages abroad?

They’ve told me it’s because holidaying abroad has become so much more difficult that touring in the UK on a boat is more attractive. If that is the case, I think the boom will be short lived ๐Ÿ™‚
