Well, we hadn’t moved, so Chris’s cunning anchoring observations and theories had worked! With slightly stronger winds than the previous day we were able to set the sails with a full mizzen and stay, 1 reef in the jib and no main, such that I didn’t have to touch the wheel for over 15 minutes (without the auto pilot), which is a record!
We took the sails down at Kara Ada but it had been a great sail. I was given a new home in the marina too. Nothing unusual there. Every time I come back I always seem to be given a new home! Still, it’s a great way of meeting new people and practising my berthing skills!
