The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed some weird and wonderful updates on followtheboat, containing Jamie’s recent images. They happen to coincide with great news about his first photography exhibition, as well as an email from Wanderlust travel magazine asking if he’d like an image of his published as ‘Photo of the Month’!
Jamie is taking part in the Urban Picnic Photography Exhibition ‘Life Out Of Balance’, in Saffron Walden, UK. This runs until December 8th and is on now. Four of his pieces are part of a group exhibition juxstaposing his African and Indian street photography with architecture and urban themes. If you’re in the area please do pop in and give Marta and Rob some support to a most excellent gallery; you could even purchase one of his prints! Sadly we left the country before the exhibition started so if you do get a chance to see it we’d love to hear from you.
Meanwhile, Jamie has a new photography blog on GooglePlus, which is like a grown-up version of Facebook. Each day various themes are set and depending on whether he can be bothered Jamie posts up one image that matches that theme. These updates are all found in followtheboat’s Photography section, which you can find at the main Photography link at the top of the page. Feel free to browse, click ‘Like’ or ‘Plus One’ and, of course, comment.
