We’re celebrating! In a few week’s time we will be seeing in our 200th episode and we’re thinking of doing a retrospective, looking back on our fifteen years aboard Esper, so…

We’d love to know what your favourite clip/photo/blog-post/story/accident has been.

    Let us know below.

And if any of you fancied putting a quick video together with a personal message or requesting your favourite clip to camera, please do so by sending the clip using http://www.wetransfer.com to my email address (jamie@followtheboat.com).

You’ve been the backbone of our adventures and we’d love your input on this special.

Hope you are all keeping safe and well.

    Peace and fair winds!

Thanks for the feedback, Danny. Some good ones there I’d forgotten about.

Yes, I do seem to have lost my sense of humour lately and it’s something I’m aware of. Lately, we’ve been coming across as a bit dry and I’m not sure why. The last couple of episodes have been more serious topics and maybe the Covid situation has had an effect, but sometimes we get too focused on the filming and forget we’re supposed to be having fun! Also, we can be quite ironic and this sometimes goes over people’s heads so I made a conscious effort to not be too sarcastic. Perhaps I’ve gone too far the other way! Anyway, I’m going to rewatch episode 12 and remind myself how to be funny 🙂

Hope you are keeping well over there.

    Peace and fair winds!

I thought the kids in Tarempa were funny (or, your commentary on them was): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vZ2vD9d1Ls

I first got into watching your videos during the refit. There were many great moments, and you have already mentioned doing something about that.

I love the episodes where something challenging happened, like someone ramming your boat or doing a visa run, and you had to cope with it. But I also like the bits about planning. And I love the cooking bits and the passage-making (the sailing bits).

hmmm, may need to narrow it down a bit…

Vicarious sailing while knitting is my shtick
