    Hey guys,

Liz and I have literally dropped hook back into civilisation if you can call the mouth of an estuary on the east coast of Sabah ‘civilization’. We’ve been offline during our trip down the Kinabatangan River. Of course all this will be covered off in future videos and we’ll get back to you on all the posts on FTBMates when we get a better connection. Right now it’s taking rather a long time just to post up a picture on Facebook, let alone respond to all the recent threads we’ve missed here. Apologies for that, and for not getting our episodes up to you earlier.

To make up for it we wanted to share two pictures of two animals that are not easy to find, let alone photograph: the proboscis monkey and the pigmy elephant. Spotting five elephants in the wild forests of Borneo was one of the highlights of the trip so far!

Have a good Sunday and we’ll get back to you when the connection gets better.

    Peace and fair winds!

That is incredible! I had to look up the Pygmy Elephants because I have to admit I had never ever heard of them (just Asian and African).  What an amazing treat. I can’t wait to see / hear more about it.
