Is it too early to talk about Christmas? Maybe, but it’s not too early to start some festive shopping… We have five great gift ideas for sailors and cruisers over the holiday season. We use these items all the time on SY Esper and you will too if you are lucky enough to receive them in your Christmas stocking…

Jamie – I’m glad you broke the $50 rule and shared the cameras. I was wondering about your recent reef footage (BTW it is awesome) and how you captured it. And yes, cheap is relative – because I was thinking you must be into the “professional” grade of underwater cameras – so its good to know you can get great results without the “professional” grade of cameras (i.e. $1000’s).
Liz – don’t give up fishing – you’ll need to put in some effort to find Millie’s “new awesome treat” that fits within her diet and give it to her only when you catch a fish. Pretty soon Millie won’t miss the fish, but begin to look forward to the new treat.December 5, 2019 at 12:58 pm#42882JamieSkipper@jamie-ftb
I really do love that Tough, it’s a great little camera. One of the issues with underwater filming is hunting focus as you pass so many objects in the foreground and back, so the trick is to focus lock. If I’d known this earlier I’d have even more useful footage!
I will not allow Liz to stop fishing!
Peace and fair winds!
