When you guys talked about the workers I got the feeling they weren’t employed by the boatyard.  Maybe I just miss understood.  Did the boat yard see them as independent contractors?

It also seemed that you were involved in the day to day management of the jobs and the craftsmen.  How much of the project was managed, if any, by the yard?

Was it left up to you who you choose to be on the team, when and what they worked on etc?

Here in the States when you go into a yard period, you basically lay out the jobs you want and need done, negotiate a price and the yard takes it from there.  It seems a lot different in your case.

I’m sorry one more question.  Did they finally decide to peel the hull once they realized how extensive the blistering was?  I hope they didn’t have to remove all that material with a grinder only, yikes!
