Dear Ed, I'm completely incensed at the way in which the net (VHF Channel 69, 0900hrs UHT) is contravening Ofcom regulations. On Monday someone requested assistance in getting his liferaft serviced when it was clearly asked in the taxi-share section, whilst on Wednesday the comprehensive weather forecast was pillaged by a priority announcement regarding the canteen menu. I find it utterly disgraceful that responsible yotties behave in this manner and I would like to remind VHF owners that this kind of behaviour is only permitted if you have one of those radios that goes “skwwwrrrrkkkk” at the end of your transmission. untrained owners of dogs. I cannot blame the animals themselves so my urgent plea is directed at the owners to, please, monitor their dogs’ movements and remove these unhealthy parcels from the marina’s paths and walkways. Concerned of Yacht Marine

Dear Ed, Apparently there are 49 boats with pets on board in the marina, yet the shop tells me that it sells 51 packets of pet food per week. Clearly someone is using this extra food to their advantage and possibly setting up a black market in animal snacks. Yours, Jenny Tull
